Janet's Schedule
    Jim has been square dancing since 1946 and I since 1985. We met at a square dance and became dance partners for several years. 1996 we married. We moved to the Portland/Vancouver area in 1997.
    Jim is a retired electrician. I work for the Bonneville Power Administration, Vancouver, Washington as a Power System Dispatcher, Outage.
    I started calling in 1994 and have attended a number of callers' schools/workshops to an effort to continue learning. But my best school for learning was teaching square dance classes. I called for the Coast Swingers, Garibaldi, Oregon from 2000 to 2007. We traveled over 45,000 miles during that time for club dances, special events and classes. I taught Mainstream square dance classes, plus workshops and round dance at Phase I and II for Waltz & two-step rhythms. I am a current member of Callerlab and the Northwest Callers Association.
